Job summary

The University of Cincinnati invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to serve as field supervisors in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services and Information Technology (CECH). The role involves supervising, observing, and evaluating teacher candidates at school partner sites during the PK-12 day, with reporting to the Field Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline and prior teaching experience.
• Pk-12 teaching or supervisory license in an appropriate field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
• Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate teaching performance of teacher candidates at field schools and provide oral and written feedback.
• Evaluate assignments and provide written feedback.
• Communicate with teacher candidates, mentor teachers, and UC faculty members regarding performance of the teacher candidate.
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
