Job summary

The Elementary Education Field Supervisor at School of Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison, links PK-12 schools with the UW to support pre-service teachers through coaching and mentorship during field experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience teaching in a P-9 setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with learner-centered approaches and evidence-based teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Observation/coaching cycles and triad meetings with pre-service and cooperating teachers.
• Provide individual student support and evaluation and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Field Cohort team; co-facilitate/attend seminars.
• Build and maintain relationships with assigned schools and communities.
