Job summary

The College of Southern Idaho is seeking a part-time Workforce Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor to teach online sessions and guide apprentices in the electrical industry. Ideal candidates must possess a Journeyman or Master Electrician license and have prior teaching or training experience.

This role enables you to contribute to the community through education, requiring commitment to students and adherence to the Idaho Electrical Code. Flexible scheduling with bi-weekly Zoom meetings is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• 2+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician required.
• Teaching or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on the Idaho Electrical Code and advances.
• Deliver and implement the approved curriculum.
• Manage class operations including attendance and grades.
• Support students in meeting course objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
