Job summary

North Idaho College is seeking a Lead Instructor Electrical to shape the next generation of apprentices through classroom, lab, and online instruction, aligning with Idaho DOPL standards. This role develops materials, schedules, and resources while guiding apprentices toward Journeyman licensure and long-term success in the electrical trade.

You will supervise lab activities, recruit students, and partner with industry to expand programming.

Qualifications

• Three years full-time equivalent experience as an Electrical Journeyman.
• Active Journeyman Electrical license in the State of Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom, lab, and online instruction blending theory with hands-on application.
• Develop course materials, schedules, and instructional resources.
• Supervise apprentices in lab settings and support student success with resources.
• Recruit students and build partnerships with industry and community organizations.
• Collaborate with Apprenticeship Manager to adapt curriculum and ensure quality operations.
