Job summary

Jenco Inc in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a part-time Electrical Instructor to lead our in-house apprenticeship program and related trainings. You’ll teach electrical theory, NEC/code, safety, mentor apprentices, and shape the material as the trade evolves.

With existing classes and labs, you’ll step in to deliver, track attendance and progress, and influence the next generation of electricians. Passion for teaching and staying current with code updates is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on electrical construction experience.
• Comfortable in front of a classroom - teaching, training, & mentoring experience is a big plus.
• Strong grasp of NEC and applicable state/local codes.
• Commitment to safety.
• Bonus: instructor certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom and hands-on lab sessions on electrical theory, code (NEC), safety, and trade skills.
• Run our in-house apprenticeship classes on a set training schedule.
• Track apprentice attendance, progress, and assessment scores.
• Mentor apprentices and act as a go-to technical resource.
• Update and expand existing course material as code, tech, and field needs evolve.
