Right At School in New York, NY, is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs, delivering engaging activities and safe, structured days for children. You will collaborate with a team, lead daily activities, and uphold safety, wellness, and learning goals in a dynamic school setting.

Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, depending on education and experience, with a split shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates with the team.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan and lead activities and curriculum.
• Lead by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: follow safety protocols and document observations.
• Communication: interact with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
