Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator for our after-school program in New York. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, offering a pay rate of $17.00–$20.00 per hour based on education and experience. Candidates should support a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children up to age 13.

You will plan activities, manage daily sessions, and collaborate with staff to meet program goals while ensuring safety, equipment upkeep, and positive communication with families.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR in-person is preferred.
• Proof of High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate daily activities aligned with program goals.
• Create safe, engaging, and educational experiences for children after school.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow safety protocols.
• Support program goals and participate in daily team meetings.
