Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator in New York, NY. The role supports before/after school programs with engaging activities that mix learning and play, aligning with our mission to inspire a love of learning.

The Educator schedule is Monday–Friday split shifts: 7:00 AM–9:00 AM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, up to 25 hours weekly. Benefits offered to eligible team members are listed in company materials.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily program meetings to review goals and progress.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with objectives.
• Lead by example with a safe, nurturing environment and positive guidance.
• Prioritize safety, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
