Job summary

Right At School seeks an Educator in New York to support before- and after-school programs. You will help plan activities, lead engaging curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment while partnering with families and school staff.

The role emphasizes inspiring a love of learning and healthy living, with a schedule Monday–Friday split shifts and pay rate $16.00–$19.00 per hour based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and working with families or children.
• Ability to collaborate in a team to deliver after-school programs.
• Experience with children under 13 preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Motivated to inspire learning and healthy living.
• Willingness to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum for children.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and positive guidance.
• Ensure attendance and safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
