Intermountain Health seeks an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound under physician direction for patient diagnosis. Ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field. Part-time 30 hours with 10-hour days and on-call shifts at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.

The role emphasizes practical training, patient education, teamwork, and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment that values care quality and collaboration.

Competenze

• ARDMS or CCI certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred from accredited institution.

Mansioni

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Explain procedures to patients and families and prepare patients for exams.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document results and charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students in equipment use and techniques.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
