The Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. seeks a Mental Health Aide (28 hours) to support Head Start students within the classroom setting. You will work under the Teacher/Director and coordinate with MH professionals to implement behavior plans and support young children.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability, and the ability to communicate with families and staff. Bilingual skills are encouraged; a valid driver's license and vehicle may be needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Warm, supportive attitude toward children and families.
• Bilingual abilities encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Works with MH/Disability coordinator, school district, and mental health professionals.
• Supports designated child with classroom management challenges.
• Diaper changing as needed.
• Completes monthly Aide Checklist.
• Center director supervises the Mental Health Aide.
