Job summary

Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Aide (28 hours) to support designated children within the Head Start program.

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, following the MH Behavior Management Plan, and coordinating with the MH/Disability team and professionals. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, reliable attendance, and the ability to record data per Head Start standards.

Qualifications

• Maintain confidentiality in agency operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with MH/Disability coordinator and professionals.
• Support designated child with classroom management.
• Diaper changing.
• Completes monthly Aide Checklist
• Work hours vary with classroom needs.
• Center director supervises the Mental Health Aide's tasks.
• Operate computer and basic office machines as needed.
