Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and CPI required; TB test annually.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle for 15 passengers or less.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and training to consumers in community residence.
• Implement training goals and collect data.
• Counsel consumers as necessary.
• Administer medications to residents per CHESCO guidelines.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and supervise chores, house cleaning, and laundry as scheduled.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team and consumer-related meetings.
• Transport consumers as needed.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.
• Prepare food and maintain supply inventory.
• Filing and routine direct care paperwork; prepare monthly sheets.
