Job summary

BioLife seeks a part-time Plasma Donor Screener to support center operations in Stevens Point, WI. You will greet donors, screen eligibility, and assist with phlebotomy to ensure high-quality plasma collection and donor safety.

You will use the Donor Information System, maintain accurate records, and assist with donor compensation and scheduling. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Becomes proficient with donor screening and phlebotomy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts; maintain records and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
