Job summary

Capella University Inc. seeks adjunct faculty to teach in doctoral and graduate programs across the US. You will deliver instruction from a pre-designed curriculum, mentor learners, and participate in doctoral committees. Timely feedback and strong communication are essential for student success.

Travel to doctoral residencies 3–4 times per year is required; 4–12 days per residency. Applicants must be able to travel within the US and work with online platforms to enrich the learning experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in oral presentation and planning of course objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction from a pre-designed curriculum.
• Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees.
• Be available within 48 hours by phone/email to support learners.
