Job summary

Capella University seeks qualified adjunct and part-time faculty to teach in doctoral and undergraduate programs. You will use a pre-designed curriculum, mentor learners, and participate in doctoral committees.

Travel to US residencies 3–4 times yearly (4–12 days each) is required, with timely feedback and strong communication expected. Degrees must be conferred from regionally accredited institutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum doctoral degree in psychology or related field.
• NCSP certification required for School Psychology track.
• Active/clear clinical psychology license.
• Experience teaching at graduate/undergraduate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach at residencies 3–4 times per year (4–12 days each).
• Provide high-quality instruction from pre-designed curricula.
• Mentor doctoral learners and participate in doctoral committees.
• Respond to learner inquiries within 48 hours (excl. weekends/holidays).
• Travel within the US to participate in doctoral residencies as required.
