Job summary

The Trillium is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Steward for an essential role in our kitchen team. This part‑time position covers Sundays and Mondays from 3pm to 9pm, supporting dishwashing, cleanliness, and orderly storage to keep the kitchen flowing smoothly.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 pounds, follow sanitation guidelines, and work well with others. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, with a commitment to punctuality and teamwork in a busy dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or retirement community kitchen preferred.
• Ability to read and write English clearly.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Receive, unload, and stock food and beverage deliveries.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO; manage storage properly.
• Remove trash/recycling and keep waste areas clean.
• Sanitize refrigerators and kitchen equipment; assist with deep cleans.
