The Trillium in McLean, VA is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Steward to join our culinary team. This role maintains a clean, organized kitchen and supports operations by washing and sanitizing all dishes, cookware, and utensils while assisting with deliveries and general upkeep.

Ideal candidates will have prior kitchen experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and pass a background check. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilidades

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas
• Receive, unload, and stock all food and beverage deliveries in appropriate storage areas
• Ensure proper rotation and storage of inventory (FIFO method)
• Take out trash and recycling regularly, maintaining clean waste areas
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment as scheduled
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by the Executive Chef
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Position Summary:

The Trillium is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Steward to join our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, while also assisting with deliveries and general kitchen upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas
• Receive, unload, and stock all food and beverage deliveries in appropriate storage areas
• Ensure proper rotation and storage of inventory (FIFO method)
• Take out trash and recycling regularly, maintaining clean waste areas
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment as scheduled
