The Trillium is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Steward to keep dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas spotless in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with deliveries and general upkeep, supporting the culinary team and Executive Chef.

Ideal candidates have prior restaurant or retirement community kitchen experience, are able to lift up to 50 pounds, and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Formación

• Prior experience in a restaurant or retirement community kitchen is required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Receive, unload, and stock food and beverage deliveries.
• Ensure proper rotation and storage of inventory (FIFO).
• Take out trash and recycling and maintain waste areas.
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators and kitchen equipment as scheduled.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by Executive Chef.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Job Title: Dishwasher

Full Time, Part Time, Weekends

Position Summary:

The Trillium is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Steward to join our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, while also assisting with deliveries and general kitchen upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas
• Receive, unload, and stock all food and beverage deliveries in appropriate storage areas
• Ensure proper rotation and storage of inventory (FIFO method)
• Take out trash and recycling regularly, maintaining clean waste areas
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, and other kitchen equipment as scheduled
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned by the Executive Chef
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience in a restaurant or retirement community kitchen required
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
