Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) is seeking a part-time Disability Services Testing Assistant to support students at the Lancaster campus and college-wide locations. The role performs testing functions with accommodations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate will provide reader and scribe support, coordinate with faculty, and maintain accurate testing records. A relevant associate degree or equivalent experience is required, along with PA Child

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in education, psychology, or closely related field.
• Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to perform the duties.
• Mandatory compliance with PA Child Protective Service Laws and a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Provide reader and scribe services for students with disabilities during testing.
• Assist students using adaptive equipment to ensure optimal testing conditions.
• Build positive relationships with students and communicate testing requirements to faculty.
• Maintain accurate testing records and provide data for surveys and reports.
• Secure tests from faculty and return them at the end of sessions.
