Job summary

Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) is seeking a part-time Disability Services tester to provide testing accommodations for students while maintaining confidentiality. The role supports readers, scribes, and adaptive equipment to ensure accessible testing environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in education, psychology, or closely related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Must be able to provide readers and scribes, and arrange testing accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Build positive and productive relationships with students needing accommodations.
• Provide reader and scribe services and assist with adaptive equipment during testing.
• Inform supervisor of any special circumstances or protocol deviations for review.
• Secure tests from faculty and communicate testing requirements to faculty.
• Maintain accurate records and provide data for surveys and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
