St. John’s Community Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Dover, DE for a part-time, Thursday-Friday 3PM-11PM and Saturday 9AM-11PM schedule.

The DSP will support individuals with disabilities, provide supervision and training, assist with daily activities, and help with transportation and community inclusion in a home setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to meet health and background checks, and hold or be willing to obtain required

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Valid health certificate and driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision and training to persons served to support social wellbeing and safety.
• Administer medications per procedures after state certifications.
• Assist with daily activities and transportation to access community resources.
• Document supports and progress daily according to SJCS procedures.
• Attend mandated events, workshops, and meetings.
• Safely manage agency resources and equipment.
