Job summary

Burton Center is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to join our Residential Program in an Intermediate Care Facility, providing direct support to adults with disabilities. The role includes training, promoting independence, and assisting with daily living activities in a home-like setting.

You will receive in-depth training, help track progress using Therap, and may drive Burton Center vehicles after completing safety training.

Qualifications

• Must have a SC Driver's License.
• Able to lift or maneuver up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Adaptive, a team player, and advocate for others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered direct care to adults with disabilities.
• Implement training programs and encourage independence.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Track progress using Therap and maintain reports.
• Ability to drive Burton Center vehicles after training.
