Job summary

Burton Center for Disabilities and Special Needs is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Day Program. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours from 7:00am to 4:15pm, supporting adults with disabilities and promoting independence through structured activities and care.

You will receive in-depth training, includingMedTech and basic life support, and will use a curriculum to guide behavioral support plans.

Qualifications

• All new hires must complete in-person orientation and online training prior to on-the-job training.
• Orientation is held monthly, over three days (9am–5pm).

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered direct care to adults with disabilities.
• Support training, independence, and community engagement.
• Document progress using Therap and perform basic care tasks as needed.
