Job summary

Baroco Corporation is hiring a Part-Time Direct Care Provider in West Springfield, MA. This role focuses on consumer training, skill development, and case management to help individuals achieve independence and community participation.

The position requires 1 year of direct care experience with adults with IDD when possible, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist with ADLs and safety interventions. Schedule: Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM; 27.5 hrs/week; $20.00/hr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience with adults with IDD preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple individuals in classroom or community settings.
• Physical ability to support ADLs and emergency interventions.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized training programs and implement skill-building plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IDT meetings.
• Provide direct support, manage behavioral plans and safety interventions.
• Coordinate community outings and transport consumers in company vehicles.
• Uphold professional standards, OSHA guidelines and policy compliance.
