Job summary

The Baroco Corporation in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Part-time Direct Care Provider- Instructor to support adults with IDD. The role focuses on consumer training, skill development, case management, and ensuring participants participate fully in their community.

Responsibilities include developing training programs, maintaining records, performing behavioral support, supervising activities, and coordinating community outings with the IDT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience with adults with IDD preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized training programs and assess progress.
• Maintain documentation and participate in case reviews.
• Support behavioral management and direct care including ADLs and safety.
• Coordinate community activities and transport as needed.
• Ensure professional appearance and adherence to policies.
