Job summary

The Baroco Corporation in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Direct Care Program Assistant to provide administrative support and direct care to adults with IDD, working part-time 22.5 hours per week. This role blends office coordination with hands-on participant support and documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining records, and supporting safety procedures under the Health Care Supervisor, while promoting dignity and independence for participants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong typing, organizational, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the program site and assist with documentation.
• Assist participants with activities of daily living and direct care needs.
• Respond to safety incidents, complete required documentation, and follow procedures.
• Maintain schedules, attend required meetings, and support team collaboration.
