Job summary

Baroco Corporation is hiring a Direct Care Provider (Part-Time Instructor) in Oxford, MA. The role involves consumer training, skill development, and case management with individuals who have IDD.

You will provide direct support, implement behavior plans, and help participants achieve independence within community settings. The position offers part-time hours (27.5 per week) at $20/hour, with opportunities for professional growth, documentation duties, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience with adults with IDD preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple individuals in classroom or community settings.
• Physical ability to support ADLs, transfers, and emergency interventions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement consumer training programs.
• Conduct consumer assessments and create individualized training plans.
• Collaborate with consultants, IDT, and other professionals.
• Maintain Permanent Records and complete documentation on time.
• Assist with ADLs and mobility support, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Plan and supervise community outings and transport consumers.
