Job summary

German Centre Communities is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising efforts, donor communications, and events. This part-time role emphasizes building donor relationships and managing records to advance our mission.

The position requires 1–3 years in fundraising or nonprofit development, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Strong English communication and MS Office skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of fundraising, nonprofit development, or community relations experience.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, charitable giving, sponsorships, grants, and donor databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fundraising and development activities, donor communications, appeals, events, and stewardship.
• Maintain accurate donor and prospect records in databases with timely acknowledgments.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and community engagement activities.
• Assist with grant research, proposal prep, reports, and materials for funding opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership, volunteers, donors, and partners to strengthen relationships.
