Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, marketing or PR strongly preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising or donor relations desirable.
• Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 3–5 years nonprofit-related experience in marketing, development or PR.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to create and implement fundraising strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants foundations corporate sponsorships and individual donors.
• Assist in writing grant proposals sponsorship packages and donor appeals to secure financial support.
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions, and communications through donor database.
• Foster donor cultivation and retention efforts.
• Support the planning coordination and execution of fundraising events, campaigns and outreach.
• Contribute to social media and online fundraising campaigns to engage supporters.
• Provide general administrative support to the development team including scheduling and presentations.
