Job summary

Summer Search National is seeking a part-time Development and Communications Coordinator to support fundraising, communications, and events across five sites. This role collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Development to strengthen donor stewardship and craft compelling storytelling.

Responsibilities include donor engagement, managing the major gifts pipeline in Raiser's Edge, updating content with Canva, and coordinating events and communications materials.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of non-profit development experience including donor communications or social media management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with deadlines and coordinate staff or volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Support national fundraising, communications, and events across five sites.
• Help strengthen donor stewardship and storytelling to advance fundraising goals.
• Maintain donor and prospect records in Raiser's Edge NXT and coordinate next steps.
• Collect student stories and program highlights to support communications with Canva and digital assets.
• Assist with website updates and digital asset management; track performance across channels.
• Coordinate event workplans, collateral, invitations, and post-event follow-ups.
• Collaborate with development and marketing teams on cross-functional initiatives.
