Job summary

German Centre Communities in Boston is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising and development activities on a part-time basis. You will assist with donor communications, events, and stewardship, and help maintain donor databases.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners. A Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management or related field is preferred, with 1–3 years in fundraising or related areas and strong English communication

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or community relations.
Knowledge of fundraising best practices, charitable giving, sponsorships, grants, and donor databases.

Responsibilities

Coordinate fundraising activities, donor communications, appeals, events, and stewardship initiatives.
Maintain accurate donor and prospect records and timely updates to databases and acknowledgments.
Support planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
Assist with grant research, proposal preparation, reporting, and related materials.
