Job summary

German Centre Communities in Boston is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising activities, donor communications, events, and stewardship initiatives. This part-time role is primarily during business hours and pays $24.00–$29.00/hour based on experience.

You will maintain donor records, assist with grant research and reporting, and collaborate with leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners to strengthen relationships and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–3 years in fundraising, nonprofit development, or community relations.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor database management, sponsorships, and grants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating fundraising and development activities, including donor communications, appeals, events, and stewardship initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining accurate donor and prospect records, ensuring timely updates to databases, acknowledgments, and correspondence.
• Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, campaigns, and community engagement activities.
• Assist with grant research, proposal preparation, reporting, and other materials to support organizational funding opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners to strengthen relationships and support the organization's development goals.
