Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Development Coordinator (Temporary - Maternity Leave Coverage) to support the Development team with fundraising events, donor stewardship, and day-to-day operations.

The role emphasizes organization, fundraising knowledge, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid in-person/remote work arrangement and a starting pay rate of $20–$21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent.
• 1+ years in development or marketing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for large events and assist with program books and guest lists.
• Update back-end Development web presence (Soapbox and Salesforce) and pull data.
• Manage event budgets and timelines to ensure cost-effective events.
• Support donor communications, stewardship materials, and fundraising activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to secure sponsorships and in-kind donations.
• Assist with development and Boston Jewish Film Events as needed.
• Prepare materials for CEO and CDO for key meetings/events.
