Job summary

Serena & Lily in Westport, CT seeks a part-time Associate/Design Advisor to deliver a best-in-class client experience through sales, service and design support. You will act as brand steward, cultivating relationships with clients through personalized guidance.

You’ll work weekends and some holidays, sharing design knowledge and product expertise in-store and via virtual appointments to help meet brand sales goals while keeping the floor inviting and on-brand.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail or relevant sales experience in interiors/home furnishings or client service
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to engage with clients
• Proven ability to deliver on-brand client service and sell using product knowledge and design/décor
• Ability to use a MacBook for web navigation, email and Zoom; 2D/3D rendering experience a plus
• Passion for home design and delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Willingness to ask questions, be proactive, and work in a team
• Strong personal style and brand-aligned presentation

Responsibilities

• Acts as brand steward in interactions with Clients, Designers, Vendors and Co-workers
• Create a warm, welcoming, on-brand client experience
• Provide design advice and product knowledge in-store and via virtual appointments to contribute to sales goals
• Resolve client needs quickly with leadership support
• Drive customer retention and loyalty through follow-up on orders and quotes
• Assist in receiving shipments, merchandising, and maintaining a brand-standard selling floor
• Proactively engage clientele including Trade Program members
• Other tasks assigned by Leadership
