Modern Dentistry in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a part-time Business Assistant to support the front office and Dentrix-based scheduling. You will greet patients, manage phones and emails, and assist with insurance verification and claims.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to protect PHI under HIPAA guidelines. This is a part-time position with opportunities within the Heartland Dental network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-centered office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must protect PHI and complete HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answer phones, mail, and emails; communicate with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and maintaining patient records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.
