JASPER Engines & Transmissions in Sacramento, CA is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver to load, unload, and operate a 20-24' box truck, delivering to customers with a focus on safety and service.

Schedule is two days per week, up to 29.5 hours, with no weekends, and overnight routes possible. Training provided; benefits include 401(k) match and ESOP; CDL not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include: Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck. Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service. Following DOT rules and regulations. Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle. Assisting with branch warehouse support. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Pay and Benefits

Starting rate $23.00/hour. Multiple performance reviews within your first year, which include the ability to receive wage increases. On the job training. 401(k) with a company match program.
