Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions in Houston, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver to load, deliver, and service customers with a 20-24’ box truck. You will follow DOT rules, perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

The role offers a 4-day work week of 10-hour shifts, with no weekends and occasional overnight routes. Starting pay is $20.00/hour, with on-the-job training and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
• Deliver safely and on time with strong customer service.

Job Overview

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule

Schedule: 4 days per week. 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. This branch does require an overnight route, as needed. One every 8 weeks or so.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required)
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits
