Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Providence Forge, VA area. You will load, deliver, and support branch warehouse operations, while adhering to DOT guidelines and maintaining a professional image.

Training is provided for many roles and advancement opportunities exist within the Jasper family. Starting at $20.00/hour with potential wage increases after performance reviews within the first two years; 4-day, 10-hour shifts, no weekends or overnights.

Qualifications

• Must obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use a GPS effectively.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products with pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule: 4 days per week. 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits
