Job summary

Everence Services is seeking a part-time Collections Specialist in Lancaster, PA. You will support the credit union’s early-stage delinquency management, working with member accounts 15–60 days past due and maintaining a positive relationship through professional communication.

You will make outbound calls, discuss payment options, document all interactions, and collaborate with lending and service teams to resolve accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication, with empathy and professionalism.
• Experience with collections processes and member account servicing preferred.
• Ability to document interactions accurately in systems and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delinquent loan accounts mainly 15–60 days past due.
• Make outbound collection calls and handle inbound member calls professionally.
• Discuss status, options, and repayment arrangements with members.
• Document all contact attempts and promises to pay in the system.
• Prepare delinquency lists and summaries for department reporting.
• Collaborate with lending, member service, accounting, and branch staff to resolve issues.
