Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Part-Time Collections Officer to manage delinquent accounts for loans, credit cards, and other products. You will monitor accounts, contact members by phone, email, and mail, and negotiate repayment plans that fit their ability to pay while upholding policies.

You’ll document all interactions, collaborate with Loan Officers and the Legal Department, and prepare regular reports on delinquency trends.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, communication, research and negotiation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in collections, customer service, or financial institutions preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delinquent accounts and follow up with members via calls, emails, and written correspondence.
• Negotiate repayment plans aligned with members’ ability to pay and adhere to policies.
• Document all communications and agreements accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with Loan Officers, Member Services, and Legal Department to resolve issues.
• Prepare regular delinquency reports and identify trends to improve processes.
