This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an excellent work and shopping environment. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products.

Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to English-speaking customers, clients, and associates.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift/move up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds) and reach from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close, color, and depth perception.
