Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St James Hospital in Butte, MT is seeking an RN Shift Lead I for a part-time, day shift. You will supervise and provide direct patient care, coordinate staffing to census and acuity, and serve as clinical support and role model on your shift.

Requirements include a BSN within 4 years (or equivalent experience), Montana RN license, and BLS certification. Regular on-site attendance and potential on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direct patient care on shift as needed.
• Respond to patient emergencies and act as lead for disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicate census, admissions, discharges, and issues to the next charge nurse.
• Support unit management with productivity and staffing and timekeeping.
