Job summary

Harlem Children's Zone in New York seeks a Data Aide to support after-school programming. This role is mission-aligned, detail-oriented, and helps collect, manage, and maintain program data, including intake forms and daily attendance.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, basic database familiarity, and is comfortable with Salesforce or large data systems. Responsibilities include data entry, quality control, cleaning data, organizing files, and generating reports while collaborating

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or other large data management systems preferred.
• Experience with the DYCD data system, a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and enter program data such as intake forms and daily attendance into databases.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accurate data entry and tracking.
• Clean data when errors, duplicates, or missing data are identified.
• Organize and maintain paper files for data backup and auditing purposes.
• Generate and maintain spreadsheets to track program participant activity and event participation.
• Maintain relationships with Program staff to ensure accurate collection and reporting of data.
• Perform quarterly reviews of all intakes/applications for compliance.
• Assist with daily/weekly stat sheet.
• Perform other duties assigned.
