Job summary

Harlem Children’s Zone is seeking a Data Aide to support college success programs, oversee data integrity, and lead a small data team. You will manage data systems, develop dashboards, and generate reports to track scholar participation and outcomes.

The role emphasizes governance, collaboration with Evaluation, and delivering actionable insights to CSO leadership. A strong background in data management and program support is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 3+ years of data-related workstreams, SOPs, visualizations, reporting, and dashboards.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading a small team (2+ members).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Experience with large data sets to create reports and visualizations.
• Must pass a Data Skills assessment demonstrating advanced proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure primary data systems and secondary systems are utilized to their full potential; provide support to staff.
• Maintain data integrity across systems and review data life cycle for accuracy.
• Evaluate systems and propose innovative data capture and reporting solutions.
• Manage data processes to track comprehensive student information.
• Supervise and develop Data Managers and Data Aides.
• Create comprehensive data visualizations from raw data.
• Generate site-specific data reports to assess scholar participation and progress.
• Present monthly data analyses to leadership to clarify focus areas.
• Identify data-driven strategies to improve program performance.
• Manage high-profile data-related projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
