Job summary

New York Edge is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support data management for after-school programs in New York City public schools. You will enroll participants, update databases, track attendance, and prepare weekly and monthly reports under the supervision of the After School Program Director.

The role is part-time with up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 25 hours when school is not in session. On-site work in NYC is required.

Qualifications

• Data entry experience with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with database systems or web-based databases like DYCD Connect, Cityspan, or EZ Reports is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Docs is expected.
• Bachelor's degree or college credits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll participants into required web-based databases in a timely and accurate manner.
• Enter the schedule and label activities in required databases.
• Set up class rosters and maintain attendance sheets.
• Record attendance weekly in all required systems.
• Assist the Program Director with data reporting to enhance programming.
