Job summary

Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) seeks a Data Aide to support college success programs for high school students. The Assistant Director of Data will oversee program data, ensure accuracy, and maintain governance in collaboration with the Evaluation department.

The role emphasizes leadership, data visualization, and strategic analysis to improve outcomes for youth and families. The position involves managing Data Managers and Aides, coordinating with the CSO, and delivering regular data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of data-related workstreams, SOPs, visualizations, reporting, and dashboards.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading a small team (2+ members).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
• Experience with large data sets to create reports and visualizations showing trends and OKRs.
• Must pass a Data Skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee primary and secondary data systems and ensure data integrity.
• Manage Data Managers and Data Aides; provide training and coaching.
• Create comprehensive data visualizations from raw data.
• Generate site-specific reports to assess scholar participation and progress.
• Present monthly data analyses to CSO leadership to guide site focus.
• Identify data-driven strategies to improve program performance.
• Lead high-profile data-related projects.
