Job summary

New York Edge is seeking a part-time Data Specialist to perform data entry at the site level for a program. You will assist the Program Director and NY Edge by running reports and tracking data that highlight program successes, gaps, and needs.

The role requires in-person work in Staten Island, with up to 20 hours per week during school sessions and up to 25 hours when off sessions, at $20–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• College credits and/or degree highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Google Docs.
• 1–2 years of database experience; DYCD Connect, Cityspan or EZ Reports a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enrol participants into required web databases accurately and promptly.
• Enter schedules and label activities in required databases.
• Set up class rosters and maintain attendance sheets.
• Record attendance weekly across systems.
• Support the Program Director with data reporting to improve programming.
