Job summary

New York Edge is seeking a part-time Data Specialist to handle data entry at the site level for a program in New York City. You will assist the Program Director with reporting, tracking data, and maintaining attendance and schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with stakeholders.

The role requires in-person work, up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 25 hours when not in session, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer literacy and comfort with office software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Punctuality, dependability, and enthusiasm for NYE's mission.
• Bilingual candidates a plus; ability to walk stairs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Enrolling participants into required web-based databases accurately and timely.
• Entering schedules and labeling activities in required databases.
• Set up class rosters and maintain attendance sheets.
• Record attendance weekly in all required systems.
• Assist Program Director to enhance programming via data reporting.
