Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist in Butler, GA. You will handle inbound and outbound communications to support customers and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities include answering phones, chats, emails, updating accounts, scheduling deliveries, and resolving issues with a focus on courtesy and accuracy; prior CS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, chat, social media, or email professionally.
• Maintain and improve customer relationships daily.
• Ask probing questions to identify issues.
• Update and maintain account information.
• Reach resolutions while limiting follow-up questions.
• Schedule delivery orders and negotiate for new/returning customers.
• Handle service orders, pricing questions, and contract details.
• De-escalate customer situations per policy.
• Send statements/invoices and perform soft collections by phone.
• Assist setup of new customer accounts.
• Meet or exceed performance standards per policy.
